Hello.

I’m a performance and slice of life kind of director and guy :) My thoughts and ideas are powered by characters, moments and stories from everyday life that I pour into films every time I read a script.

 

As a director, I believe in the magic of simplicity in storytelling, even for the most complex of stories. My mind, much to my amusement, has learnt to think in musical notes and as a film maker I find nothing more gratifying than to create the perfect harmony between films and their music. If the script was a person, music to me was the smart shirt on it’s back but over the years, I’ve come to believe that it’s not the shirt, it’s the soul, the emotion!

 

As a Delhi boy, my life was most importantly - theatre, Hindu college and the busy bylanes of North campus.. While college gave me a degree in economics, my actual schooling in filmcraft was MTV through years 2014-18. Currently, on afternoon’s off you’ll find me seated on my couch opposite my PlayStation or listening to AR Rehman in the confines of my study.
